SS08 is the sixth collection from pudel – a scandinavian yet london based label, which has been steadily evolving since its launch in 2005.

Pudel is the brainchild of Lina Österman. Having previously participated in Rendez Vous in Paris and CPH trade fair in Copenhagen, Österman was invited to present her show during stockholm fashion week 30th of january 2008 as well as part of Los Angeles fashion week in march 2007.

The conceptual aesthetics of Pudel have generated a lot of commercial interest among buyers in the us, scandinavia and japan. Mixing references from youth tribes and classic tailoring, Pudel continues to explore androgynous expression in the tradition of belgian deconstructionism and scandinavian practical design. The intelligent use of details and versatile design claimed a cult following for the upcoming label, which remains particularly strong in the US, Sweden and in the UK.
